Algarrobo-Costa (zip code 29750) is located in Andalusia, in the province of Málaga, on the eastern Costa del Sol. It is about 35-40 minutes from Málaga Airport. The region is easily accessible via the motorway.

Nearby is the fishing, yacht and sport boat port of Caleta de Vélez with 274 berths for boats up to 25m in length and a maximum of 4m draft. The picturesque harbor is easily accessible by foot via the promenade.

15 and 30 km to the east are the towns of Torrox-Costa and Nerja. Nerja is known for its stalactite caves, the "Balcony of Europe" and some very beautiful bays and beaches. They are among the most beautiful in the region.
Sites like Granada, Seville, Ronda, Córdoba, Malaga, Marbella, Cádiz and Gibraltar are easy to reach on day tours.

This garden has been cultivated and cared for since around 1972. In addition to palms and banana trees, there are strelizi, oranges and many other plants.

The beach has been awarded the blue flag for water quality and is equipped with showers, lifeguards and access for disabled people.

Self-catering or eating in various restaurants - Andalusian style or international, both is easily and inexpensively possible in Algarrobo-Costa.
Infrastructure in the urbanization
In the complex there are restaurants, an ice cream parlor with a café, a travel agency including car rental, a dentist, a laundry, a pastry shop and a physiotherapy practice. More shops and other restaurants are just a few minutes' walk away.
There are children's playgrounds on the beach and on the promenade. Sun beds and umbrellas can be rented on the beach between April and September.
The inviting beach promenade leads west to the port of Caleta de Vélez and on to the next larger town, Torre del Mar (20,000 inhabitants). In an easterly direction, a bridge leads over the Rio Algarrobo to Mezquitilla, where the promenade continues.

- Coming from Málaga Airport take the N340 / junction onto the MA 21 (Av.Velazquez) in the direction of Málaga, (not Torremolinos),
- From the MA 21 on to the MA 20 in the direction of Motril / Almeria,
- The MA 20 then becomes the A7 (E15 ), continue towards Motril / Almeria,
- Take exit 948 Algarrobo onto the A7206 motorway slip road towards the coast / N340
- At the roundabout on the N340 exit towards Almeria,
- Take the next roundabout and take the first exit towards the sea
